I found you “Lush”

27 Mar

When I was in Hong Kong with my husband, we were looking for some exit to get out of the subway train area. I acidentally found “Lush” As you know, we don’t have this shop in Thailand. I really like their products. I remembered myself going in this shop in Philippines one time when I worked with Marriott Vacation Club and we had a small meeting there. Smell very good from outside! My ex boss bought some body scrub and lotion.  She really loves it but back then, I have no interest in these stuffs  :)

What funny is I just want to take picture to post in my blog and write about how exciting I am when I found “Lush” I told my husband to take picture of me in front of the shop but the lady said “No picture taken, please” in very polite way and smile. hahahaha!!! I was so embarrassed but I’m not angry. I do understand they might have a policy. So, I looked quite funny in the picture because she interrupted us in the middle of our picture taking  hahaha. I found that funny!

I finally found you :) even though I have no chance to enter the shop. I have to fly 2 hours to see you :) How about that? :)

Thank you for reading.

Lotion and Shower Gel Workshop

20 Mar

I was invited by my teacher (Khun Noi) to conduct a Lotion and Shower Gel Workshop at The Peninsula Hotel in Bangkok. I want to say “Thank you” to khun noi to give me an opportunity to conduct this class.

There are about 35 people from BASF Chemical Company. I was afraid of my English Speaking since it’s not my mother language and I’ve never ever spoken English in front of too many people like this before.

It made me more nervous when I knew that there are many nationalities in this group – Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Indian, Thai, American, Australian, European. Wow! My gosh! What am I gonna do? Will they understand me?

We started our class by making lotion first. I had them separated into 7 groups with 5 people in each group,so, it’s easy to make their own lotion and they can share and help each other.

The lotion class went well, then, we started to make a shower gel. If I have another chance to practice speaking English in front of many people like this, I’m sure I will get better. I just hope they enjoy and have a fun time, fun class with me.

At the end of the class, we had a game activity for them. I asked question about HOW TO?. If they can answer, they can choose and extra soap or lotion or shower gel with our cute label that we prepared for them.

Thank you Ida – BASF Staff who gave us this opportunity

Thank you Khun Noi (my teacher)

Thank you everyone for reading my exciting story :)

Hong Kong & Macau Trip

18 Mar

My husband and I went to Hong Kong and Macau to celebrate my birthday together. I’m 31 year old now :) What a nice memory! I love the weather very much. It was 18-19c which it’s cold for me but comfortable for my husband. I didn’t expect that chinese people will speak english  and understand us before we arrived but I was totally wrong. Chinese people speaks English very well (better than me) and very friendly. I’m very impressed with everything in Hong Kong. We will come back one day in the future for sure.

I’m very impressed with the transportation. It’s very convenience with english language sign everywhere. We travelled places by subway train and public bus which it seemed to be difficult but it’s not at all. We bought an octopus card from the airport and we can use this card everywhere in Hong Kong. oh! 7-11, too. hahaha

The food was good. We’ve tried different kinds of food such as Local food, Spaghetti, Chinese food, Japanese Food, Congee and Thai food. I still think “Thai Food” is the best. hahaha!! Sorry! I LOVE SPICY FOOD. Our last meal was a Thai food. It’s quite expensive there but I really want something spicy in my stomach. We went to a building which I’m not sure what’s the name of this building ”Ocean Terminal” I guess, the restaurant was at the end of the building. We’d been looking for this restaurant in the map. Thai food is the best! in the picture is a chinese food and japanese food.

We went to Macau together as we planned. We took a boat for 45 mins from Hong Kong Island to Macau. I saw many pictures of “The Venetian” and really want to see it. The Venetian is a luxury hotel in Macau and have a huge casino inside. We didn’t play casino. My aim is to take picture of these beautiful Venice Style shopping areas and have a starbuck coffee, then, we moved to another place. We need to be on time because our boat back to Hong Kong is at 6pm.

We spent 6 days 5 nights in Hong Kong which I don’t think we travelled to every places we wanted. I want to see Hong Kong Disneyland next time. So, this trip we went to visit a Big Buddha by taking a cable car which it’s super cool. We went to Macau visiting The Venetian and St. Paul Church. We went to Repulse Bay to pray for Chinese Gods. Love everything in Hong Kong. I will be back when the whole island is on sale hahaha!!!

Thank you husband for making my dream comes true.

Thankyou for reading everyone.

What’s wrong?

22 Feb

My sister’s graduation day

Sorry, you won’t see me often here and I didn’t make soap as I want to. I moved out from the building and came back home. I wish I can make something at home but we are having problem with oils. We have a limited of buying Palm Oil and Soybean Oil. The price of oil is increasing too much. The supermarket will allow 1 family/1bottle of oil.

The Good News is I was invited to teach how to make lotion and shower gel to 35 Chinese people from Hong Kong at Peninsula Hotel. I will update my pics and what’s going on there.

Thank you for reading.

Bath Bomb for fun

25 Jan

As you know myshop is going to close soon, I’m preparing to move. I want to finish my stuffs that I have. My friend visited me the day before yesterday. We made “Bath Bomb” together.

We made 2 colors and used Jasmin Rice Milk scent. The important thing I notice is you need to blend “Citric Acid” very wel, otherwise, it’s too rough.

My recipe:

1 CUP OF BAKING SODA

1/2 CUP OF CITRIC ACID

1/2 CUP OF CORN FLOUR

1 TABLESPOON SWEET ALMOND OIL

1/2 TABLESPOON FRAGRANCE OR ESSENTIAL OIL

COLORS

WITCH HAZEL
